Roman Pravak, MD

Dr. Pravak is a graduate of the SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse.  He completed his internship at St. Joseph Hospital and his Ophthalmology Residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital & Medical Center.  He received Fellowship training in the medical and surgical treatment of vitreoretinal diseases at New York University Medical Center and the Vitreoretinal Foundation in Memphis, TN.  Dr. Pravak is Board Certified in Ophthalmology since 2006.  He serves on the medical staff at St. Luke’s Hospital and is Medical Director of the St. Luke’s Retina Center.  Dr. Pravak also maintains his private practice in Fountain Hill.

​Dr. Pravak specializes in the diseases and surgery of the Retina and Vitreous.  Lehigh Eye Specialists utilizes the region’s most modern and sophisticated diagnositic and therapeautic equipment, including high-definition digital fluorescein and indocyanine-green angiography, spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) and angiography (OCT-A), ultra-widefield fundus imaging, ultrasonography, cryotherapy, conventional and micro-pulse lasers, and a newly developed laser for treating floaters.  With his expertise and specialized equipment, he will provide you with the most advanced care for diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal tears and detachments, macular holes, macular pucker, floaters, and posterior complications of cataract surgery.
